Economic growth, percent change in quarterly real GDP in Hong Kong, June, 2020
The latest data from Q2 2020 show economic growth of -9 percent,
which is an increase from the rate of growth of -9.1 percent in the previous quarter and
a decrease compared to the growth rate of 0.4 percent in the same quarter last year.
The economic growth time series for Hong Kong cover the period from Q1 1974 to Q2 2020.
During that time span, the average growth rate for Hong Kong was
4.94 percent. The lowest rate of growth of -9.1 percent was recorded in Q1 2020 while the highest growth rate was 20.5 percent in Q4 1976.
