Peru: GDP per unit of energy

The latest value from 2014 is 14.57 GDP per kg of oil equivalent, a decline from 16.51 GDP per kg of oil equivalent in 2013. In comparison, the world average is 10.44 GDP per kg of oil equivalent, based on data from 128 countries. Historically, the average for Peru from 1990 to 2014 is 12.48 GDP per kg of oil equivalent. Definition: GDP per unit of energy use is the PPP GDP per kilogram of oil equivalent of energy use. PPP GDP is gross domestic product converted to 2011 constant international dollars using purchasing power parity rates. An international dollar has the same purchasing power over GDP as a U.S. dollar has in the United States.
