The latest value from 2013 is 4.44 GDP per kg of oil equivalent, an increase from 3.73 GDP per kg of oil equivalent in 2012. In comparison, the world average is 10.02 GDP per kg of oil equivalent, based on data from 133 countries. Historically, the average for Uzbekistan from 1990 to 2013 is 1.95 GDP per kg of oil equivalent. Definition: GDP per unit of energy use is the PPP GDP per kilogram of oil equivalent of energy use. PPP GDP is gross domestic product converted to 2011 constant international dollars using purchasing power parity rates. An international dollar has the same purchasing power over GDP as a U.S. dollar has in the United States.
