Building permits in Serbia, July, 2020
The data series span the period from January 2007 to July 2020.
During that time, the average value for Serbia was
501 building permits with a minumum of 148 building permits
in February 2016 and a maximum of 1431 building permits in October 2019.
The latest number is 1148, a change of 16.08% from the previous data point of
989 building permits and a change of -3.37% from a year ago when the level was
1188 building permits.
The number of building permits is considered a leading macroeconomic indicator as it typically grows a few months ahead of an economic expansion and declines a few months before an economic slowdown.
