Ghana: Food prices

The index measures how expensive Ghana is relative to other countries in terms of food prices. Higher values mean more expensive food prices. The index is from the latest edition of the International Comparison Program of the World Bank from 2021. The program publishes new data every four years. The food price information for Ghana and other countries remains valid for several years as the relative international price levels change slowly over time. Definition: Broad based food price index. The world average food price level is set at 100. Higher values for a country indicate more expensive food prices relative to the world and other countries.
