Fiji: GDP per unit of energy

The latest value from 2007 is 12.2 GDP per kg of oil equivalent, an increase from 11.23 GDP per kg of oil equivalent in 2006. In comparison, the world average is 10.73 GDP per kg of oil equivalent, based on data from 161 countries. Historically, the average for Fiji from 1990 to 2007 is 10.62 GDP per kg of oil equivalent. Definition: GDP per unit of energy use is the PPP GDP per kilogram of oil equivalent of energy use. PPP GDP is gross domestic product converted to 2011 constant international dollars using purchasing power parity rates. An international dollar has the same purchasing power over GDP as a U.S. dollar has in the United States.
