Building permits in Cyprus, November, 2019
The data series span the period from 2002 to 2019.
During that time, the average value for Cyprus was
896 building permits with a minumum of 147 building permits
in April 2015 and a maximum of 2252 building permits in November 2008.
The latest number is 909, a change of 22.18% from the previous data point of
744 building permits and a change of 56.72% from a year ago when the level was
580 building permits.
The number of building permits is considered a leading macroeconomic indicator as it typically grows a few months ahead of an economic expansion and declines a few months before an economic slowdown.
