Religions in Switzerland

The Cline Center for Democracy reports that in 2013, Christians comprised 82.2 percent of the population in Switzerland which places Switzerland at rank 43 in the world. Christianity is divided into three main groups: Protestant, Catholic and Eastern Orthodox. In Switzerland, the Protestants and the Catholics account for 34.3 and 47.8 percent of the population respectively.
